Disney Princesses on Ice

The show was called "Princess Wishes," but I think the wishes that really came true were those of the princess and prince sitting next to me.

Last night, Papa took us all out to see the Disney on Ice performance of "Princess Wishes."  The show was spectacular.

The set at the Target Center.
When we told G-Bear and E-Bear the night before that we would be going to see a Disney Princess show, G-Bear nearly fell over and was speechless with excitement, and E-Bear began dancing around the room.  The Disney Princesses and their friends are truly near and dear to our hearts.

We saw seven of the princesses last night, including Jasmine and Aladdin, Mulan,

Snow White, the seven dwarfs and Prince Charming,

Hi ho, hi ho, we LOVED the princess show!

Belle and her enchanted castle friends,

Ariel, her sisters, King Triton, Prince Eric, Sebastian, Flounder, and Ursula,

Sleeping Beauty, Prince Phillip, the fairies, Maleficent (who turns into a giant, fire shooting dragon!),

And of course, Cinderella, who arrives at the ball in a twinkle-lit carriage, and her Prince.

The kids were riveted, and so were we.  This was definitely not just a show for toddler girls, but seriously impressed all of us.  There were plenty of skating numbers with characters other than the princesses, so little princes definitely did not feel left out.  The skaters are really impressive and the special effects were as well.  We love Disney in our house, and this show lived up to my every expectation.

G-Bear, ready for the show to start.

E-Bear was riveted.
The evening was made extra-special by a phone call during intermission that Aunt K had just had her baby!  Our new baby cousin had arrived during the show!  We could not have been more excited.

As we left the show, E-Bear said, "Thank you Papa!  I want to see it again and AGAIN!"
G-Bear said, "I think I would like to do skating school."

We literally danced, hand in hand, across the skyway back to the parking deck. Even though it was nearly 10 pm, we stopped for milkshakes on the way home.  What a night!
