Adding a thumb

Tonight is G-Bear's last night as a 5-year-old.  Tomorrow is her sixth birthday, and our house is buzzing with excitement.  

E-Bear's perspective has been especially entertaining.  His comments on G-Bear's impending upgrade have included:

"I can't wait to have a SIX-year-old in our family!"

"Mommy, after tomorrow G-Bear won't be a Kindergartener anymore, she'll start first grade, right?"

and finally, upon being asked how old his sister will be on her birthday, E-Bear raises a full hand of fingers, puzzles for a moment, and then holds up his other hand:

"She's going to be an extra thumb."

So, on this birthday eve, let's here it for the Extra Thumb that is about to join our house!
